Went blog hopping, and I came around a lot of band junior's blogs. It seems that many of them are rather excited about the new ex-co posts, especially the sec twos, wishing each other good luck and all that. Glad to see that they're actually enthusiastic about their jobs, and it is a good thing.
But, do they know what to do?
And, will they take their jobs seriously?
Will the new system of appointing leaders a year earlier really groom good leaders for the band?
It sucks. Thinking about all these brings back that frustrating feeling I often used to have, when we were trying ways and means to improve the band, but nothing works cos nobody gives a damn about following the stuff we try to do. Maybe it wouldn't work out even if they did follow, but not following is like not giving us a chance at all.
There were many times when I wanted to post something on my blog, scolding someone, complaining about stuff, but it didn't seem appropriate cos it'd probably result in something worse. I bet you cannot imagine to frustration and all that.
But anyway, it's always the story about putting yourself in other's shoes.
Immaturity.emotionally undeveloped; juvenile; childish.I think it is only with maturity comes good music and good leadership. And the logic behind giving the Sec 2s posts earlier is probably to make them realise the importance of maturity, a wake up call to start growing up, and time to grow that sense of responsibility, the skills, and everything else. (This includes the coolness like mine.)
So yeah, I hope the ex-co position is not a "play-play" thing to the sec 2s, and 3s, and that they'll take it seriously, as a chance to prove their abilities and to learn.
Oh yes, Yici called me earlier on to ask me what to buy for Mr De Souza's breakfast. Hahaha. It was quite a funny thing, recommending him things to buy, even my mum was amused, and laughed at how it's now the new leaders' turn to get the breakfast. Hahaha.
My neighbour's cat keeps miaow-ing. Cute? Nah. At 12.44am, it's super irritating. Feel like throwing a rock at it, but its too dark I can't see it. So irritating.
(Yes, I realise the last part is out of point. Haha.)
